My photography

English version below. :)

         English Version

Hello!
The tome for my next photography post has come! Today's topic is Flowers, and I will show you three of my best floral photos. All of them are made in different periods of time - one it made in late winter, or the mid of spring, and the one that is left, in the middle of summer. Thought I am not sure I made them in the same year. I just uploaded them without noticing the dates, but that isn't the most important here.
So, here are my amateur photos made with my amateur device (my phone):

Pear blossoms.

Snowdrop which is lighted by the gods.
Actually, this one made me happy because of how the ray of light turned out.

Only blue effect. Of course, for this one, i needed some Photoshop work.

Thank you for being here! I hope you had as much fun as I did because this one is way too relaxing that writing a book review.

Eсенен таг - Autumn book tag

Go down for English version.

Hello, hot tea and good book lovers!
Guess what? Autumn is my favorite time! Spring too, but not that much, because of the slowly warming weather. I adore autumn, for i isn't too hot, or too cold - its just the perfect time for everything. The only thing that I don't like it, is that it is too short.
So, today I have prepared for you some autumn tag questions, which I have taken from different places and then added some myself. Only because I liked it that way.
And whoever feels like he likes the tag, may he feel tagged!

1.What is your favorite thing about autumn?
As I already said - the weather. Not too hot, neither too cold. and its perfect for overlooking the colorful palette from inside, while drinking hot tea!

2. What cover reminds you of autumn?

Simple and clearly that.

3. What fall book release are you looking forward to?
Honestly, I already have so much to read that I will hardly buy any more books now. But from the Ibis publishers (Bulgarian publisher) promised us that they will release the Bulgarian version of the second book form "Lawless". I enjoyed Ruthless so much that I have no left patience to read the next book!

4. What autumn movie release are you anticipating?
"It" made on Stephen King's book sounds very appealing to me. However, I am struggling with that decision because I haven't read the books yet. So maybe I will wait. But Thor Ragnarok is coming out next month and I am in! (I love marvel movies)

5. What are the three books you plan to read this autumn?
Actually, its a saga. This season I will read the entire Twilight serie. I have already read the first half and now I have two books to go. Click here for Twilight review

6. Character, who'd look great on autumn leaves background?
Definitely, Clary Fray forms The Mortal Instruments. With her fire red hair and tiny height, she would look gorgeous! Actually, i just imagined it colorfully.

7. Favourite tea flavor?
I have several, but I love wild peppermint best of all! And when I add a spoonful of honey it becomes the nectar of the Gods!

Thank you for being patient. I tried to make it as short as possible so you wouldn't be bored. And last, I need to know something.... what is the thing that you love most of all of the autumn?

English version below.

Hey!

I cannot believe it that September passed so quickly! However, I cannot stop it. But the best thing about ending of any month it that I have to do wrap-ups and I love doing them! Also, if the month has been good, it is even better - and September made it to the I-am-proud-of months.

So, this month I read 6  books, which gives me speed with the year challenge of 50 books. ( i have read 39 so far) And here it is what I read:

1. The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe.

This is the first book of the series of "Narnia".  After last month I read the prequel to the story, now it was time for the very first book. I am so very glad I read it and I liked it very much. To sum up my review, which I still haven't translated into English, it is as you are watching the film in your head. it looks like it is the very scenario of the movie adaption and it brought a lot of childhood memories to me.

2. Prince Caspian

And this is the second book of the series of Narnia. I just couldn't resist starting the second after I read the first one. Of course, there is no way that I won't like any of the Narnia series, but this one had its bad perks, however, they are not so important. Unfortunately, I haven't translated that one too, so be patient.

3. Bai Ganio

This one is a Bulgarian author book which is a classic. it was for my school literature classes and I had for summer reading. It is about a Bulgarian guy who travels around Europe to sell his rose oils to the citizens. But he (his name is Ganio) doesn't know any of the languages needed for the countries he visits. And that way he gets to plenty of comedic situations.

I do not read a lot of Bulgaria authors only for they are not so good as the foreign, for example. But this is what we Bulgarians have and we love it.

4. Everything, everything.

The book is not so bad, but I felt it like it was unfinished and not fully written. It definitely is in need of more details and descriptions, and above all more precisely described feelings. For me, this is one overrated book, which has less good perks than bad. I really hoped to give a full star rating to this one, but I was left disappointed. Excuse me, but I liked the movie better.

5. Ruthless

This is one of the types of books that makes you think the month has been satisfying. I think this book is worth every minute you spend reading it. Personally, after I read it, I needed some time to order my thoughts, because it was so much. So much good things I had to say and write, that I had difficulty in ordering all of it. Do not get me wrong, I am not a fan of erotic novels, but this one got me! It all has the sense to be read-only because of the mystery and plotline.

5. Twilight

Yeah, yeah, I know. You may wonder - are there still people who haven't read that one? Yes, obviously, me. But finally, i managed to get to the famous Twilight and read it. And to say true - I am glad I did, for I liked it. I clearly know what more of the folk thinks of the book and the vampire novels that come up, but for me, this is the book that started all the trend with the vampire-werewolf fever. So that's is one of the things that make me think Twilight is one good book. GOOD, not extraordinary, though. Here is a review.

Currently, I am finishing up with New Moon and for now, I am all good with it. So wait for a new review soon. (if I manage to translate this one).

And one more month is completed! I have already read one big part of my challenge - 40 out of 50. And I think I should have chosen a bigger number. Unfortunately, this month I couldn't finish the Narnia series, but i am planning to pay the debt in October. And speaking of October...

I think to continue with the Twilight saga, and then to try something new. Of course, I have to finish Narnia, too, as I said. So I have a lot to read this month, so I should brace myself. Iwhich will be hard with my new Spanish lessons)

Thank you for your patience and hope to see you back soon!♥

Review of Twilight - english edition

Author: Stephenie Meyer
Title: Twilight
Rating: 4/5
Genre: Fantasy, YA, Supernatural (vampires)
Note: nothing in common with the film.

Bella is 17 and decides to have her next school year with her father in foggy Forks. She does it only because her father had always lived alone and to give him a chance to be with his daughter. However, it appears it is way more difficult to adjust there after she has always been used to the sunny Phoenix. Until one day Bella sees Edward and the others of the family Cullen. Then Forks becomes a nicer place to be, but she doesn't see the danger behind the sparkle...

(a bit of preface before starting. If you are in a hurry go to the next paragraph)
We all know the story behind Twilight. However I, (as unbelievable as it can be) am reading it for the very first time. I know. I know it is very unlikely to have left any people on Earth to have never read the saga, but here I am! I finally got to the famous Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, The book is almost 500 pages and it took me a little bit more to read it, and that's why I didn't post for a while, which I am sorry for. But, hey, I managed to give it the needed time to absorb all the cool stuff around it.
And to begin with, I will give you a piece of advice:
Never, Never read the Goodreads reviews before reading ANY book!
This can ruin your dreams, literally. And I am glad it only happened to me once. (not this time, though) I say it because after I read Twilight I wanted to see whether the others think of it the same I do. So, I scrolled down and saw only negatives! One and two stars one after the other. There were very little above two.

Which I was very surprised by. Do you remember when the book came out and the fever that caught all the teenagers, and even the older ones (my aunt count too)? And when the movie came out?  Then the people were literally crazy, and I, as a fresh teenager then was the truest Twilight fan. (btw, only movie fan) So, yes, it was kind of strange to see so many negative reviews about a book that made such a boom.

Now, I will stop with the talking about other people's opinion, because you may have been confused wether I liked the book. Well, liked it! Not that much to give it all five stars but I liked it as any other good book, and plus one star for the good old times when I was Twilight fan to death and everything in my head included vampires. And this way there we have 4 stars.

Before I had only watched the film and to admit, they have very little in common. Recently, they streamed the film on the tv, and I've just finished the novel, so I could immediately say any detail that was changed in the adaption. I, f course, noticed all of them, and for any other person it may seem kind of stupid to fall for the little details, but for a bookworm its the most irritating thing in the world! now, I will not start the endless arguments between book and film, because it's something else I am writing for. Just know that the film is not equal to the book! (as almost every time)

Now to business.

The book is retold by Bella's view and at the very beginning, I didn't like this one., for it felt unfinished. I needed more details and Bella has poor appearance. The whole thing is, that I wanted to know how the other characters felt and the author's choice makes me think she chose the easiest path. Furthermore, after the acquaintance between Bella and Edward, her thoughts became too girlish and overly teen. As the ones, every girl gets with her first crush. This is the only thing I could forgive for to all the ones who gave one or two stars at Goodreads and I understand what they had in mind with "Bela's slobbery thoughts".

The other thing is, that the plot is too prolonged. Even from the beginning and until the last 50 pages, you can feel how there are a lot of words for little things that happened. No, there are not long and wide descriptions of nature or the sunset, but there are long descriptions of the main character's feelings. Here I need to drop a line - I think that Meyer hadn't known hot to continue ner novel, so she makes some scenes everlasting. Maybe she didn't draw a plan of the novel and immediately started to write, which made her blocked sometimes. But for the last fifty pages, she may have admitted to herself that Twilight has to have something not-ideal in order to make it interesting and worth reading. And that's the only way I explain such phenomenon as Twilight - one long, long development of character feelings, and then very little of adventure in the very end. So, if you are an adventurous reader - Twilight is not for you.

Fortunately, these are the only (two0 things that I can say I didn't like. And now - why I liked it?

Despite that, the plot is enlonged, the author gives us the perfect thrill about Edward and Balla's relationship. At first, I thought it was happening too fast and easy, but then I relaxed and accepted it as it is. For me, the main characters' love is equal to a children's for it is unforced and without hesitation. And such a thing is not seen in every book. In most of the cases, the questioned ones need way more time to accommodate to each other. And that's why I liked how easy it all happened with Bella and Edward.

And obviously, they are in the center of the story, but this didn't stop me from observing the other characters, too. And the one that caught my eye was Jacob. We all know what he is in the film and how much attention he gets there. Well, in the book we have only three little meetings with him. Maybe Meyer had tried to make a love triangle, but I didn't feel it like one because Jacob was no rivalry to the vampire. That's why I so badly wanted to know what the other characters thought...

Otherwise, the plot may be told to be well arranged, if we do not count the prolongation. And Stephanie has made all the needed so the reader is full and never hungry to know how the thing happens or why smb does smth.I mean that she has answered all the questions that appear during the reading at the accurate time, so everything about the new (the vampires) is cleared. That way the plot feel completed without and plot-holes.

It was really hard for me to rate Twilight and I was really torn between 3 and 4 stars, however, i chose 4 in the hail of the old good times when I was sworn Twilight fan. I am happy I read the book, but I do not think it is good for a second try. Twilight had its own time and popularity, which I think started all the searching for vampire and werewolf novels, so this makes the book important to the literary history.

English version

Hey, hey!
I'm beginning to develop my blog more and more! As you already know, currently the English version of my Bulgarian blog is being worked on, so it's way more difficult to make new posts between all the translating and editing. Also, not long ago I created the "offtopic" label on the blog, so there can be something different than books and book reviews. Something to break the ice, if you wish. Wonder why? Well, I have always wanted a personal blog and most of the times I whether gave up or it didn't get any visitors at all. (of course, I do not blog to gain popularity, just it isn't fun to get one visitor for today) So I thought it would be fun to have something different here just for fun and colorfulness.

And here I am today with one of the first offtopic articles. (here I put some anti-spam pleases for the Bulgarians, just because I used literary the word offtopic than the BG translation, and we BGns are way protective of our not-widely-spoken language) And this article is on the theme - My photographies and I am thrilling to show it to you!

Besides a bookworm, I  happen to be a photographer, artist and some other things, that are not important now. (a sports-girl, dancer, inventor, I'm good with computers, and know a bit of HTML) And in the posts like this, I will show you some of my amateur photos, which, unfortunately, are made with my 8mpxl phone, not with a digital camera (they are very expensive here)

So, as you can see, the title says ART, and I will show you very little part of photos of my drawings. Just these are the only ones that became good. Here they are:

This and the next photo are exposing only one drawing in different angles. The drawing in painted with aquarelles. I named it "Lilacs" for that's what it shows. I painted it somewhere in the spring when the lilacs were already becoming dry, but this didn't stop me. Quickly I grabbed a handful of them and put them in a jar. So, only the lilacs are a real-life thing, all the others- the vase and the background - are my imagination plus things I learned in the few art lessons in school.
Only, I think I could have used a paler shade of purple, but I cannot change it now. However, it looks great on my bookshelf with favorites.

And the next one (bellow)  I drew a long time ago. I was keen on drawing sunflowers but the time was that there weren't any around so I used only my imagination here. And perspectives, too. And memories.
However, I am proud of the result of this experimental painting. Maybe after some time, I will draw sunflowers again, I only need the real ones for an example. (i know there are pictures on the net, but believe me, it is way more different to have it before yourself and see its -even the littlest - details.)

I hope you enjoyed this article and I promise to post others like this one. (maybe the next month) Also, I will try to translate as many reviews as I can, and as fast as possible. See ya!
